Who's Ready for Jesuit College Basketball Season?

As the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) reported earlier this week, this year marks the tenth anniversary of “highlighting the mission of Jesuit education through basketball with two Jesuit Basketball Classics, played by four men’s and women’s teams.” Founded by the AJCU in 2008, the Jesuit Basketball Spotlight (JBS) celebrates the fact that all 28 colleges and universities, with over two million alumni, have men and women’s basketball programs. The sports bring together students, faculty, staff, and alumni fans to support Jesuit education.

Tonight, Gonzaga University and Creighton University’s Men’s Basketball teams will play in Spokane, WA. The women of Boston College and Fairfield University will play on Sunday the 3rd.

To celebrate excitement for this year’s Jesuit Basketball Classics, three short videos were made with the theme “We Are Jesuit Educated.”
